How it works

1. Initial Conversation It starts with a call or in-person/video meeting. You tell me what you’re looking for—whether it’s a specific document, help verifying a line, or support building part of your tree. I’ll ask a few clarifying questions so I understand your goals and the scope of the project.

2. Review & Plan I look over relevant materials you already have and outline a research plan. This includes the records I’ll search, what’s realistically available, and how long the work may take.

3. Research & Documentation I begin the document retrieval, verification, transcription, or photography work we’ve agreed on.

4. Results & Follow‑Up You receive the records, photos, or research findings along with notes explaining what was located, how it was sourced, and any next steps you may want to consider. If you’d like additional help afterward, we can continue the project at your pace.
